DEATH DEALS IN DIAMONDS

Leonard Coleman, the weak son and inheritor of his father's reputable jewelry firm, slowly comes under the influence of Ellis Markham, diamond dealer and petty crook. Markham in turn is trapped by his own schemes and becomes the pawn in a large diamond smuggling operation. When Leonard's business is robbed there is more to account for than the missing merchandise. Set in London, the thorough police work of Detective Harris is gratifying and the plot is just complex enough to take your mind off the rough edges of the characters.
