KIRKUS REVIEW

A sequel to Smirt -- in which our hero finds himself a sylvan god and becomes curious as to his offspring. Magic brings the four children of his dream to him, with their problems and their loves. All of which gives Mr. Cabell a springboard for many reflections on parents. Written in his usual smoothly verbose style. There are those who like it.
