KIRKUS REVIEW

The King Malory comes to pick in San Lucas is nearly his own. Secret agent for a cattleman's association trying to clear up the mystery of local cattle rustling, Malory also hopes to discover his grandfather's murderfather's murderer and thereby regain the large Circle M ranch. Despite the usual difficulties, Malory is successful on both counts and even able to lend a hand to Jim Carroll who has too little water and too much daughter, as he supplies him with the one and gladly relieves him of the other. Stock for the literary stockmen.
