DRAGONFALL 5 AND THE SPACE COWBOYS

In this rip-roaring, topsy-turvy space western, cowkids fly among the floating pastures of Broken Planet on dumbbell-shaped ""punch-riders."" The crew of the stranded Dragonfall 5 gets embroiled in a feud between Dad Kench and mean old Ma Maxwell and, in a search for a deed wanted by both families, follows a trail of clues that leads to the Buddha-like music masters of Condavee Country. It's faster than light adventure, meant to lasso reluctant readers (especially boys, one supposes, since Broken Planet is pretty much a male preserve). In reality, it would take a fairly agile reader to hang on to the bucking plotline, but it might be just the thing for those who are bored with more down to earth action.
