BRUCE AND CHRYSTIE JENNER'S GUIDE TO FAMILY FITNESS

They do push-ups together, tout running, and disagree on knee bends. Bruce and Chrystie, in alternate chapters, present their opinions on physical fitness. Like why warm-up and down exercises are important and which ones to do. Or why women won't get big muscles if they work out. It certainly sounds authentic--there's no doubting their sincerity--and the advice is basically sound, but there's no documentation, no evidence cited to back them up, so one must trust in their experience to proceed. Chrystie became pregnant as the book was planned and has added a chapter on that: she switched from running to swimming, ate heartily, and eschewed drugs. ""I think more and more women are becoming aware of what these things can do to you during and after pregnancy""--but she doesn't expand or specify. For fans of the dynamic duo, a many-photos treat; otherwise, hardly championship caliber.
