KIRKUS REVIEW

A companion to One Sun (ALA Notable, 1990), with slightly leas inspired monosyllabic pairings involving toddlers and their interests (""brown crown,"" ""fun run,"" ""shirt dirt,"" etc.). As usual with this ""photo-illustrator,"" the color photos are crisp and cleanly composed, the multiracial tots appealing, the educational content multifaceted, and the explanatory notes both exemplary and amusing (""This 'shot plot' of energetic two-year-olds was no 'click trick' But, we ended up with a 'snap wrap' in a 'smile style'"").
