JACK O'MOORA AND THE KING OF IRELAND'S SON by Bryan Macmahon

JACK O'MOORA AND THE KING OF IRELAND'S SON

By

Publisher: Dutton

A bouncing bit of folklore in a familiar pattern by the Irish author and play-wright. The King of Ireland's son on his quest for the dream maiden whose hair is as dark as the raven's wing etc., picks up the wily Jack O'Moora and an assortment of other supernatural beings, who use their magic powers to help him win the princess who has talents in that direction, too. The form is traditionally repetitious -- the prose steaming right out of Galway Bay.
