The author who declares her love for fish and fishing provides an easy-going cook book of recipes used by herself and her friends, with a wide choice between simple and elaborate dishes. Decides the instructions for the finished product there is a great deal about how to catch, clean and prepare the important ingredient. Many personal fishing experiences are included. Alewives and shad, flouder and fluke, blowfish, porgies, bluefish, kingfish, gels, tuna, swordfish, weakfish, striped bass are jointed by shark, skate, sea robin, and, to complete the course, there are cassoroles, chowders, soups and sauces, for those looking for variations in centered on fish. This makes a pleasant companion for general cook books.
