This is the account of a pioneer flight of the German airship D-Anoy to the Far East, Pamir. The author took an active part in the flight and makes an exciting story of their adventures, forced landings, arrest in Chotan and their escape which though true, reads more like fiction. They returned through Kabul, Teheran, Bagdad, and Rhodes. The author's knack of recreating the oriental atmosphere for the reader adds greatly to this narrative of a dare-devil expedition.
