KIRKUS REVIEW

We've come a long way, baby. . . from the ""edged weapons"" and ""close-range flintlock pistols"" of 1776 to the Pershing nuclear missiles. They give us that capability for ""two-fisted retaliation"" which keeps ""the world's greatest nation the world's greatest power for peace."" Survivors of Colby's high caliber chauvinism might also learn something about the Brown Bess, the Gatling Gun and the M-60.
