THE BRIGHT HILL

Pretty tripey but will pass the time of night on stormywinter evenings for those who like the rather machine-patterned sort of --in love and out and in again story. A brilliant self-made man, professor in a western college, antagonizes his associates and his wife's friends, and is really responsible for the rift in their life together. But dog in the manger fashion -- he resents her building a life of her own, finding a man she can love (though he has secured a divorce on the ground of desertion), and tries to disrupt her life again.
