Prescient dreams lead Howard Rohan to return to the theater and present a play in California to keep the state from the utter rebellion that threatens the current Comus government. Rohan's post hypnotic controls are obstacles for the perfect performance and, when he discovers that he is as revolutionary as the anti-Com group, he is ready to lend his help to their activities. Those grim futures again but plausible.
