KIRKUS REVIEW

A physician introduces this ""short cut to a healthy life"", a handbook to Hatha Yoga- that system of psycho-physical training which unites body and mind and spirit, teaches control, contributes poise and awareness at an emotional level as well. In the first section, the authors formulate the various Yoga postures; cleansing processes; exercises; as well as habits of diet, sleep and meditation which must accompany them. In the second section, fifty diagrams and photographs illustrate further the explicit instructions designed to permit mastery of this science and/or art.....The authors have succeeded in providing ""a workable text on the physical aspect of Yoga"" and there is an abiding audience.
