This makes for a book that is full of homespun tidbits, pick-up reading, and quotable sayings. The style is of the fireside, chatty variety, women are ""Bedelias"" or ""wimmenfolk"", and the material is sorta on the Edgar Guest side. Of first interest to the radio audience, secondly to that market which absorbs the man in the street philosophers.
