FABRICS AND DRESS

Primarily a book intended for High School students, a standard in its field brought up to date, and keyed to wartime shortages, need of care and repair. Two thirds of the text deals with dress design, sewing, fauhions and fads, use of patterns, accessories in dress, problems of taste. The balance deals with clothes for younger children, with care of household fabrics, and with an appendix on knitting.
