SINBAD'S BOOK OF PIRATES

The author of Spin A Yarn, Sailor, etc. is popularly known as ""Sinbad"" -- hence the title of the book. Here are true stories of great adventurers, prefaced with some introductory facts as to the hows and whys of piracy, with explosion of a few colorful and glamorous fictions as to the romance of piracy. Many of the famous characters are there, but the thing that recommends this above the general run of pirate books is the inclusion of many less familiar figures. A good combination of fact and drama well done.
