KIRKUS REVIEW

Full of gossip, slander, inside stories gotten through peep holes in under the bad fashion, this is a malicious attack on most of the personalities in Washington today. For those who want the goods on Justices Frankfurter, Murphy and Douglas, or Hillman, lakes, Henderson, orcoran, Morgenthau, Eccles, et al. Praise goes to the dollar a year men only, and regrets that their work is continually hampered by the New Desl. The author asks ""why one should write a book such as this at this particular time?"". Many readers will also want to know why -- as it is distinctly not constructive. There will be however many people wanting a book like this -- and it may well be another Country In The White House. In fact whether you like it or not, the public will and it looks like a best seller.
