KIRKUS REVIEW

Based on the broadcast of ""The Cavalcade of America"" program, this covers much well known territory. The routine is a combination of biography and dramatic episode- that treats such well known lives as Adams, Lincoln and Clara Barton, and some not so well known as James Eads, engineer, and Hiram Sibley, telegraph organizer. The sentimentality and sketchiness of these pieces, added to the fact of their joint, publication with Lothrop, Lee & Shepard, place them in the younger reader market.
