THE PATRIOTIC ANTHOLOGY

A useful book in days when patriotism is on the ascent -- and a book that should roll up a good plus sale in your juvenile department, for schools and libraries, scout organizations, clubs and camps. The arrangement is chronological from an historical viewpoint, and the material includes contemporary source material, prose and verse, and the best of the patriotic or reminiscent poetry written in English speaking countries and dealing with episodes, people and history of our country. By no means is it all great writing; but most of it is good, and all of it is included for sufficient reason.
