Neal Kirby, after high school, devotes himself to being a worthy member of his father's trucking operation. Suddenly the roads become perdition to the boy when he is victimized by a group of highjackers. Here is a situation which will either earn him partnership in the firm or totally destroy the corporation. If Neal can reconstruct the crime and discover the criminal, his father will have absolute confidence in him. If he fails, the company will go bankrupt. Neal's investigation involves him in a poignant friendship with a boy whose life is, itself, a mystery. Wallop follows wallop in this action paced ""who-dun-it"" which should appeal primarily to Grade-B movie fans who occasionally like their films in book form.
