A TRIP ON A TRAIN

As an explanation for very young children of the main features of an over night train ride, this is disappointing. The little narrative is stilled and full of correct language; the photographs of the two children and their mother look as if they had been posed for advertising purposes. But the niceties of the dining car, the bedroom compartment etc., en route from Los Angelas to New Mexico via Santa Fe to meet Daddy, will appeal to many.
