KIRKUS REVIEW

Jeff Green, handwriting analyst, takes over the investigation on an insurance company payoff on the policy of Aaron Sloane, presumed dead by drowning, and suspects that Sloane is still alive and in collusion with his wife and former partner. Some water-borne detection, on a small craft with an attractive girl- Sloane's former secretary, substantiates more than these speculations and suspicions... Agreeable rather than exciting.
