COPY FOR CRIME

The leasing of an old studio by two girls brings Scotland Yard out- in full strength- and raises some inquiries about a former tenant, Vincent Brown, who faked a rare triptych. The discovery of Brown's body, on the premises, the impersonated identities of their landlord and their char, and the return of the killer to the scene of the crime closes a case which begins and ends in family resemblances. A polite puzzle for sedate tastes.
