MY MOM TRAVELS A LOT

The good thing about it is we get to go to the airport. The bad thing about it is there's only one nighttime kiss."" And so Bauer simply alternates good things that happen because My Mom Travels A Lot (""Dad and I eat out more often""; ""sometimes I get to stay up late"") with bad things (""Dad can never find my boots""; ""we miss her"") until, inevitably, we arrive at the best thing--""she always comes back!"" Parker's nifty little pictures add some touches of fun--she shows Dad and Susie, the family's big shaggy dog, together in the school play audience--to what is chiefly a specific prescription, for a condition still confined to a relatively few, relatively privileged households.
