60 PLAYMATE GAMES

As far as quantity is concerned, Hart seems to have cornered the market on better activity books. With cloth covers, good paper and type these are books to keep and pass on from child to child on rainy days, periods of convalescence and traveling. As with the others, this book uses very simple, safe materials, provides easy-to-follow directions and suggests a wide range of activities. Here are games for two or more children -- pencil and paper ""thinking"" games, Morse and flag codes, toss and bowling games and many variations of old stand-bys such as Ghost, Slap-Jack and Salvo. Again two-color sketches.
