KIRKUS REVIEW

A book which properly belongs only on shelves of case material for social workers, etc. Three prostitutes tell their stories. One is scarcely more than a child, and there is a certain naivetÉ in the account which enhances the tragedy. One is more or less hard-boiled professional, whose maternal side results in her final break up. The third is ambitious, wants to make enough money to get out, and yearns to lead an ultra-respectable life. A revealing picture, sordid, unpleasant in detail.
