Retired journalist Henrietta O’Dwyer Collins’s fifth case (Death in Paradise, 1998, etc.) takes her to scenic San Antonio, where an old friend’s granddaughter, Iris Chavez, taken into the heart of the wealthy and mysterious Garza family, has disappeared from her job at the family’s art and antiquities gallery after finding out perhaps a little too much about her gracious employers.
