A habit of responsibility sends Linda Valentine to Las Vegas from California to locate her younger sister, Becky, who turns out to have vanished when an old ex-prospector dies. Linda has a breathless time when Becky's landlady is murdered, and the police are all for tagging her; she uses the Salvation Army, a wedding and other means to avoid them and winds up with Becky but a new twist to her troubles. It takes Homicide to get her out of this. Blithe, with gaudy background.
