KIRKUS REVIEW

Fleming Stone on vacation in Long Island is called in on the death of a wealthy bachelor, who had been at odds with his niece. A second death makes it very dark for the girl. A third murder supplies the needed clues. Carolyn Wells continues to sell -- her plots aren't bad, but her style is, so evidently that is a minor factor in success of thrillers.
