KIRKUS REVIEW

It is news when a house of the standards of R.W. issues colored juveniles at this price. It would be better news if they were more distinguished in content-for the format looks a lt for the money. This one is a goody-goody story of a boy who wanted to get to the circus, and who earned his ticket by reciting a long list of animal names in school, Melped by Mooter, the wise old owl, Ronnie memorizes a long, disconnected list -- a pointless performance as I see it. The illustrations, by Marguerite Mayen are stereotyped-reproduced in color and black and white, Board.
