WHITE SNOW, BRIGHT SNOW

Reported in November 1947 as follows:- A lovely idea, this, of the excitement that snow brings, with all it means to children and not-too-hardened grown-ups, too. There's a lilting sound to the text, and appealing pictures by Roger Duvoisin in soft, misty grey-blues, shocking yellow and bright red. An attractive book, without very much dramatic appeal to children -- not the sort of book they want to go back to of their own accord.
