A HORSE FOR SHERRY

A determined little girl proves to her new pony, her grandmother and herself that she is master in the saddle in this little ranch-style tale for beginning readers. Sherry is thrilled when Little Princess arrives and even more elated when she overcomes the challenge the rambunctious pony presents. The plot is one dimensional, aimed at making a solitary point, but the author's graceful pencil sketches add the essential life and lustre.
