AND FURY

Announced by the publishers as ""the first of a new series, each volume of which will describe in great and reliable detail the members of one of Nature's families"", the present title presents the weasel, a surprisingly varied lot from the least weasel (under an ounce) to the wolverine. Illustrations (unseen) include paw and footprints, drawings and photographs throughout. Good survey material, but certainly not encyclopedic in scope -- the emphasis is less on the ""great"" and more on the ""reliable detail"". Attractive presentation.
