KIRKUS REVIEW

Pick your child with care when you read this, for Little Bit, the smallest mouse in the litter, has hair-raising adventures before he acknowledged that while ""it was fine to be bold and brave it was sometimes better to do as you're told and not always misbehave"". For cats and cooks and owls and other frightening things are menaces to little mice. And his misadventures are pretty frightening- both in text and pictures. Double spreads in color.
