KIRKUS REVIEW

There are purists who quail at ""leftover"" cookbooks, feeling that any major ingredient which has performed for Sunday's dinner has very little pizazz left in it to contribute much of anything to new pot companions, unless in the form of an honest hash. However stuff that has staying power--potatoes, meat, fruits, bread and cake are utilized here, if briefly. In the main, though, this is run-of-the mill for believers only. For those who can take ham in gelatin and cream without an attack of the vapors. With sample menus.
