THE WAY OUT OF WAR

Another title in The People's Library. Good groundwork, covering the essentials simply and tersely. By ""the way out of war"", the author would have us understand the reasons that lead us into war, -- industrialism, imperialism, etc. He would show how this war is merely part of the ""pay-off"" of the last war, painful result of the inadequacies of the Versailles treaty. He shows Hitler as a logical outgrowth of a crippled country. Finally, he sees the solution in settling Europe economically, not racially; of making a United States of Europe as guaranty of future peace.
