Wes Chase, trout fishing in Colorado, is caught in a storm and trapped in a cave by a strange figure from another world- Arvon-one of several stranded after their flight to earth in a space ship. As the weeks pass, and confidence and communication is established, Wes takes them back to the city where their hopes for return to Loitae cannot be fulfilled- no spaceship has yet been invented here- and after the loss of his wife- Wes remains with them to take the long sleep until the future offers more.... No brave new worlds to conquer- and not much originality in this one.
