THE WRONG ATTITUDE

By

Publisher: Putnam

Sub-titled ""A Bad Boy at a Good School"", this is a leisurely account of an old St. Paul's boy and his school life, some twenty years ago, in which he describes -- somewhat pedantically -- his awakening to the possibilities of beating the system, of annoying masters, of making money, and other contraband activities. Technically within the law on major crimes, smoking, drinking, and sabotage, he evaded boredom for himself and fellow students with prankish entertainments. Rather tame stuff -- the escapades and rebellious thoughts seem pretty weak today.
