CELESTIAL SPACE, INC.

Humor should be the saving grace in this story of a youngster's hoax, but for our money it goes too far into the realm of fantasy. Eddie Winston lives in Riverdale, a town bypassed by progress but yearning for Ajax Aircraft to build nearby and bring it to life. Eddie is bursting with zany ideas, and succeeds in getting the judge to sign a deed to space 100 light years in all directions, and with his pals, Brick and Jane, he puts on the antics of ownership to draw visitors from all around. The town takes a new lease on life, visitors make it popular, and Ajax takes notice and builds its plant. Somehow it doesn't come off-it's light years away.
