KIRKUS REVIEW

...but the author must have been feeling his Tiger's Milk when he concocted this. Captain Peter O. Haven has spent 13 years of Russian imprisonment after being shot down in Korea only to discover that his interrogator, the hidden voice, had impersonated him and made statements accusing the U.S. of germ warfare. The free world considers him a criminal and dead. Now he has been spirited out of prison supposedly to impersonate the interrogator and discredit him as a traitor. As preposterous as the constant surprises but undeniably readable.
