BEYOND THE SENSES by Charles Francis Potter

BEYOND THE SENSES

By

Publisher: Doubleday, Doran

The Duke University experiments in extra-sensory perception have conditioned the public to less skeptical attitudes toward psychic phenomena. The author does not contribute much that is new on the subject of telepathy, but his summaries of the work of Warcollier, Rhine, and the time ideas of J. W. Dunne are illuminating. His wife's clairvoyant or telepathic powers started the author off, and his researches into spiritualism, clairvoyance, precognition and telepathy convinced him that many people are gifted with supernormal perception. Skeptics and scoffers will find some difficulty in rationalizing some of the data in this very readable book.
