TONGUE TANGLERS

Class this as folk-lore, for there lies its value. It looks like a juvenile with engaging pictures in line and three colors by William Wiesner. And kinds who like to trip with tongue tanglers will find plenty to paly with here. Some are old . ""A tutor who tooled a .."" ""How many can a canner can..."" But many are drawn remote and unfamiliar , and some appear in variants that provide their own . The collector has been doing this for a long time, and has chosen for this collection. He gives notes on which will be of definitely folk material collectors' concern. Use with 3rd and 4th graders.
