TEEN-AGE TREASURE CHEST OF SPORTS STORIES

Ninth in the series -- third collection of original stories (rather than a collection of stories by different writers). The level isn't quite so high, though it's an excellent group of yarns on the sports level, covering football, basketball and track (in varied aspects) -- baseball, and one story each on such off the beaten track lines as volley ball, tennis (oddly enough a hard sport to put into story form), model airplane racing, water sports, and homing pigeons. Many of the stories are told in the first person- but that central character varies, so there is no continuity of individual characters or school background. Just sell as good sports stories.
