KIRKUS REVIEW

Pretty second rate mystery, in which the crux of the whole matter has to do with double meaning of The Silver Jackass, in which, according to the will of the mine owner, vast quantities of silver still existed. A gang of crooks got wind of it, and by devious means, attempted to secure rights to the caved in old silver mine. A private detective ran down the clues, foiled the plot and solved the mystery.
