GLORY, GLORY, HOW PECULIAR

Lady McCrady's giddy drawings are farther out than Keller's selections of fifteen standard tunes for which the grade school underground has invented their own words. In addition to the classic ""On Top of Spaghetti"" and the title song which begins ""Mine eyes have seen the glory of the downfall of the school,"" there are others here based on such forgettable oldies as ""The Trail of the Lonesome Pine"" and ""In the Shade of the Old Apple Tree."" But Keller doesn't seem to have made any effort to find this generation's coinings--""Hey Jude, I saw you nude,"" for example. Instead we're hit again with ""Found a Peanut""--or was it a moldy fig?
