For a backward glance at some of the more romantic science fiction of the last ten years or so, the editors have turned to the pages of magazines like Astounding Science Fiction and American Boy. Among the authors are del Rey himself with a story of a Venusian swamp zloaht, Carl H. Claudy on Martian ""brains"", Peter van Dresser and Robert Moore Williams. Reminiscent of Buck Rogers and definitely more fiction than science.
