COUNTRY LIVING: Plus and Minus

Another slant on this back to the land proposition, this time from the angle of taking up farming for a livelihood. A farmer by practice and inheritance, the author indicates the pitfalls, charts a method which novices should follow, and places sign-posts which may encourage some hardy souls, but should discourage many who think that intelligence is more important than apititude, tradition and muscle. Rather good reading -- and -- in spite of the warning note, rosy spectacled when it comes to results.
