KIRKUS REVIEW

Re-introducing the boy scouts from Bob's Hill, this time jamboreeing in Washington with side trips to Mt. Vernon, Monticello, Williamsburg and Jamestown. High spots are a personal interview with the President, a bit of life-saving, a tragic-comic episode with a racalcitrant cow and a major turn involving a robber and a fellow scout from England. The pace is lively, the humor spontaneous.
