HOW TO BE A JUGGLER: A Ringling Brothers & Barnum & Bailey Book by Charles R. Mayer

HOW TO BE A JUGGLER: A Ringling Brothers & Barnum & Bailey Book

In series with Meyer's How to Be a Clown (1977), this gives beginners about as much instruction on preliminary two-ball juggling as the printed word can convey, then gets them started on the more professional three-ball cascade and suggests some fancy tricks and different objects (balls, hoops, pins) to try once this is mastered. For filler there are comic routines (a page or two) to hoke up the act, a quick review of ""great circus jugglers"" from Aztecs on, and photos of pros and students at work. Like its predecessor, this is an overblown pamphlet, but both will probably move.
