MODERN SINGLE WING FOOTBALL

Princeton's great coach, and the coach selected by the leading coaches of the football world as ""coach of the year"" shows his hand to all takers. Charlie Caldwell has built great teams around the single wing formation and here he reveals in detail his strongest plays and what is expected of each player. This should be a gold mine for any coach or player interested in this formation and certainly helpful to the coaches whose teams play Princeton. Caldwell's success comes from his training and developing players of intelligence whose enthusiasm and application result in approaching the perfection he demands. It is a great inside story of a great coach's analysis of his own procedure, too technical for the fan who is not himself an ex-football player or coach, but meat for the informed audience, as a study of the modern strategy and modern techniques of a formation old as the game itself, but new in the developments of today.
